Do you ever have moments where you feel incredibly lucky to have your girlfriend?

Being with her feels too good to be true.

She’s thoughtful, she’s considerate, and she makes you feel loved in ways no one else can.

But because things are going almost too well, you feel like there’s a catch somewhere.

Don’t let your impostor syndrome get to you; you both deserve to have each other. What you need is to remind yourself of the reasons you should feel blessed to have her.

To state a few:

1. She listens to your rants even when she doesn’t understand

There are times when you just want to rant and let out your frustrations.

When you’ve had a stressful day, you feel comfortable talking about it with your girlfriend and she does her best to empathize with you, even when she doesn’t share the same sentiment.

There are also times when you want to let your inner fan out and rant about your favorite hobbies or pastimes.

Though your girlfriend does not understand, she tries her best to share your excitement. She asks questions to help her better understand your passions and makes an effort to be engaging.

2. She respects your personal time and space

A lot of men aren’t expressive in the least. As much as possible, you’d like to keep things to yourself instead of talking it out.

It’s why your alone personal time and space is very important to you. It’s how most guys recharge.

So instead of coaxing you out of your shell, she gives you some alone time. She knows that you simply need some time to be yourself again.

3. She doesn’t get jealous when you’re around other girls

Most people believe that jealousy is the best way to prove that somebody loves you. That is not the case at all.

If your girlfriend loves you, she will respect that you also have friends of your own. She also trusts you enough to stay loyal to her.

You don’t have to walk on eggshells around other women. You have complete faith in yourself to only have eyes for her, and so does she.

4. She owns up to her faults

She knows she did something wrong. She doesn’t make excuses. She takes quick action to be better.

But of course, your girlfriend is human as well. There are times when she’s not aware that what she is doing is harmful or wrong.

So when you tell her all about it, she listens. This makes you feel safe enough to open up a serious discussion with her.

5. She tells you when you did something wrong

When a woman is mad, she’d often give her lover the silent treatment. This can leave their partner confused and wondering what they did wrong.

But not your girlfriend.

When you do something that upsets her, she tells you. She doesn’t expect you to read your mind or anything like that. Instead, she openly communicates with you.

When you do fall into an argument, it’s very maturely dealt with. You both don’t resort to petty methods to aggravate the other. You just find logical ways to resolve the argument instead.
